Ilhabela is a State Park and truly feels like a magical island. Heavily inspired but the environmentally friendly and temporary series I did with my time in Brazil. When the opportunity arrives to leave a new mural at the doors of the Casa Ila Hart Residency I gladly jumped to it. Inspired by the birds of paradise and of Ilhabela and the birds and plants I were able to see growing in nature for the first time was beautiful. Of Ilhabela is a nod to the beautiful people and natural elements that make the island feel like the warmest place on the planet. All of the birds and plants are native to the island and are easily found everywhere.
